Marines hang from helicopter

 

 

U.S. Marines with 2nd Reconnaissance Platoon, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit hang from a CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron 162 during a special purpose insertion and extraction exercise in Djibouti March 24, 2010. The Marines performed a series of sustainment and joint exercises with French and Djiboutian service members.
