Cobra Gold 2011 staff exercise participants conduct future operations planning

CHIANG MAI, Kingdom of Thailand - Service members from different nations work together Feb. 8, 2011, in Chiang Mai during the staff exercise portion of Exercise Cobra Gold 2011. During the STAFFEX, the multinational force and components conducted future operations planning based on a United Nations security council resolution-authorized peace enforcement operation. Cobra Gold 2011 provides training opportunities for participating military partners, while also promoting relationship-building between multinational militaries and local communities.
